Stand In in Perplexity

Account settings, then Connectors, then add a custom connector. Perplexity does not infer anything, so all four fields matter:

1. MCP Server URL: the creator URL below. HTTPS is required.
2. Transport: choose Streamable HTTP, not SSE.
3. Authentication: choose OAuth. Stand In advertises its own auth server, so there is no key to paste.
4. Tick the acknowledgement box, click Add, then click the connector card to run the sign-in.

Reading only? Use /api/respond/mcp and set Authentication to None. The capsule link is the credential.

Then just talk to it

Once it is connected, Stand In is something you say, not something you open.
